K1 Address Question

I know this question has popped up but I haven't seen any like mine.  Please advise

Again, long story short, I'm gathering information and putting together my i-129f.  My fiance lives in a village without an actual number and street address.  All it states on her ID is Village and Province (see attached).  From the posts that I've read, some state that it doesn't matter and that COs know these type of scenarios.  What/how would I write this in our (US) address fields?

Also, we question where to send official mails to her.  I've sent her a package once but I sent it to her work place's address.  She says we can just use her work address as mailing address but I'm worried COs might see this as an issue.  Her village does get mail but from what I've been told, it gets sent to 1 place and then the person there distributes as he sees fit.  Meaning it doesn't always arrive timely and un-tempered.  She says friends have told her she can just go to Hanoi to pick-up the packets or official mail but I'm not sure where we would note this?  Can someone please help?

I think Lao Chai can be used as Street Name. Then, Sa Pa as City and Lao Cai as Province. You won't need street number.

I would not recommend using her work address because she will need to submit the House Registration (Ho Khau) at time of the interview. The address on her House Registration must match the address on the I-129F. If the address mismatches, it could trigger a blue slip or further questioning.

The only time that she would get a correspondence from the Consulate (or Embassy in your case) is the Packet 3, and it can also be emailed to you so if it gets lost in the mail somehow. They would email you a copy if you requested it.

I agree with Frontgear. The only time my fiancee received anything was when her passport (with visa) was delivered via EMS a week after her interview. My wife is from a tiny village in Vihn Phuc province - very similar to your situation. Don't worry about it. The only thing you'll need delivered is when she gets the visa and they deliver her passport. But it arrives via EMS - no problem. Good luck!

Thanks for the insight.

Please forgive me ignorance but what's EMS?

EMS = Express Mail Service. It's a VN carrier service.
