Way past processing time

I apply for n-600 last February an it’s been almost a year now and I still have heard nothing since I did my fingerprints 3-12-2017 my field office is Montgomery al , it showering the processing form that they receive July 1st , I called uscis and they put in a service request and said I should wait a next 30 days be for I will heard anything from them smh

GC, our field office is also Montgomery Al, we filed Dec-05-2016 and put inline on Jan-30-2017 and been there ever since and we are also waiting for interview.

Join the wagon , my finger printing was done in March and I still haven;t heard anything , Called up multiple time and spoke to Tier 2 officer and he stated that the case is still at NBC?

I read in a newspaper like 2 months ago that 2017 it’s been the year with most N-600 applications and that the processing times were up to a year (drastically different from 2016 3-7 months).

with it still being at NBC do that mean you stuck in background check?

i understand that, but why is it showing they processing that they receive in june ,

When I met the IO at Montgomery during my info pass , i asked him the same question and he said that it's incorrect..

He said my BC is completed , and they are backlogged since all the AL and FL 's files at ATL FO transferred to Montgomery

so basically since they backlog we basically cant do noting until they find time to schedule us for a interview, so service request and info pass wont help ?

Every Case is different , so I would encourage you to take an info pass and see what's going on with yours?
