Hi everyone. my wife and i attended my adjustment of status interview today, i think it went well, the interviewer was friendly and made the whole thing very relaxing, he only asked us the basic questions and said he sees no reason not approve us today and to expect the greencard in 7-10 days.

A few things I'm confused by is

1) he didn't take my EAD/AP card or my i94.

2) The status on uscis website still says

"Ready to be scheduled for interview".

3) He never gave us any kind of form, is he supposed to? I've read you should get a form of some kind.

Anyone have any experience in this?

Thanks in advance

1. Why would he take either? You still need your EAD/AP until you get approved and the i-94 is useless to them. They didn't ask for either EAD or i-94 at my interview either.

2. The online case status thingy is very unreliable, it doesn't mean anything.

3. Yep, most people get a paper either saying "case needs further review", "case is recommended for approval" or like in my case "your case is approved, congrats". But once your case is approved you'll receive the official approval notice in the mail, that's the important thing.

you really dont need any paper you will get mail soon to know if you have been approved and he has no reason to take your ead card cos you still need that pending the time you will get your green card.
