Hello to forum members, my wife (us citizen) petitioned cr1 visa for me, our case is still with uscis andI'm  sure at the current speed it will take 5-6 months for the case to be approved and move to NVC. Now i have some confusion about the documents we submitted with our i130: we had our marriage inPakistan  and when we signed our marriage contract/ certificate ( the official urdu one), we didnt put my wife's address on it cx she didn't have a home in Pakistan and she  didn't had NICOP( id card for over seas Pakistanis)at that time; we got it translated by notary and  sent it to uscis along with other photographic evidence. Then few months back i decided to make an official (nadra issued) english marriage certificate for the record.  For that it was required that i put some Pakistani address for my wife so i put her aunts address and got the certificate ready but now im concerned about the difference of address in the English and urdu    Certificates. Should i send the official english certificate as well to uscis before they start processing my case with a note about the address issue or not? Whats the best way forward. Thanks

(my wife now has a NICOP with her aunts address mentioned as her pakistani address)

Thanks for the response...Yes thats what I'm currently thinking, providing proof as per request  to clarify any issues. But if there is a way to prevent confusion in the first place then do shed light on it. Thanks again.

Yes, b/c the notary just translates word to word from the urdu nikka nama, they dont add or substract content.

so why do you need your wife address on it ?

its not a requirement

B/c few months back i made an english nadra (official govt.) issued marriage certificate and in that i had to put a pakistani address for my  wife so i put her aunts address in it, now if uscis, nvc, embassy later asks for nadra english certificate they may raise objection, so this has got me a little worried and confused.. I personally dont think a US citizens( my wife) pakistani address matters cx her actual home and address is that of US.

you are over thinking too much

first of all, NADRA marriage certificate is not a requirement its optional.. only your urdu and english translation of Nika namma is required

secondly, address on NADRA marriage certificate wouldn't matter at all ...

relax and just hang tight.. you will be approved soon INSHALLAH
