My husband will be having an upcoming interview at the Jamaican Embassy shortly. I am employed as a civil worker in the states, however I have been on leave since September. Will I need someone to help me with financial support papers? When I was earning a salary I made enough money, now Im on leave with no pay. Im really in a bad place and do not know what to do especially since this can determine if he enters the U.S or not.

No Jamaican Embassy will be involved.  Your spouse will interview with US Consular Immigrant Visa Officer at the US Consulate housed in or near the US Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica.

If you don't qualify as sponsor and do not provide an acceptable affidavit of support (in addition to your own) from a qualified joint sponsor, there will be no visa.  It really is that simple.
