I live in Cali, where do I send my I-129 form, it states on their site to send to Vermont

I checked the California Service center site, and i it states that i send the i129 form to vermont, but the form instructions state an address in cali....

That's I-129 not I-129F

Send to the service center that applies to your zip code/state of residency as indicated on the form.

Look above this page where it says "Example Forms" just under the "Guides"Tab. Download the I-129F form, read the instructions, find the state you live in and there it will tell you where to mail your petition. If you live in CA chances are you mailed it TO CA Service Center (the slowest) Good luck... oh, and make the check to "Department of Homeland Security"

02/09/09 AOS package send Express Mail

02/10/09 AOS package received and signed.

02/17/09 NOA reciepts

02/23/09 NOA about March 3, 2009 Biometrics

02/28/09 FRE!!!! :(

03/06/09 Biometrics completed

03/30/09 Responded to RFE next day air to Lee's Summit, MO.

04/25/09 AP and EAD card arrives

07/10/09 Interview letter arrives for 8/19/09

08/09/09 AP letter used to re-enter the U.S.

08/19/09 Interview completed. Results in two weeks. ( I think we got it)

08/24/09 Letter in the mail stating Interview Approved. Welcome to the United States!

what do you guys think?

you don't mention what type of petition you are filing but if you read closely, the i-129f goes to laguna niguel it's i-129 that goes to vermont. my understanding is that you are meant to apply at your "nearest" center. (i bet loads more people would apply in vermont given that they are faster!!)
