:(:(:( HELP!!!! Got my CONDITIONAL GREEN CARD today but USCIS used my mothers maiden name instead of my fathers surname as my my middle name!!!!

My complete name is: Bianca Angel C. Smith (C stands for Cruz  -my father's surname ; Smith is the last name of my husband)

In my Conditional Green Card:  Bianca Angel T. Smith ( USCIS used my mother's last name before marrying my father)

Please advise what should I do?

Thanks in advance!!!!

Hi there,

In your i-485, Did you put the following as your current name?

First Name: Bianca

Middle name: Angel Cruz

Last Name: Smith

Did you purposely make your maiden name (father's surname) as your second/new middle name?

Out of curiosity, did USCIS spell out your mother's last name or just initial?

Hi @ColoradoBeauty.

In my i-485 i put the ff:

Surname: Smith

Given Name: Bianca Angel

Middle Name: Cruz

in my COMBO card (employment authorization and advance parole) they got it right!

Since I got married, my middle name is already cruz.

USCIS just provided initial.

Thank you for getting back to me, Bianca! If the EAD is right and you filled out the i485 correctly, I think you can file form I-90.

I'm hoping to nake my maiden name as second middle name, so I'm just wondering if USCIS print 4 names.

Was "Angel" your middle name at birth?I see, so USCIS spelled out everything except middle name?

Hi there @ColoradoBeauty, I dont think its a good idea to make your maiden name as a second middle name because that will mess up your information in their system.  No Angel is my given name.

Today, I called USCIS and the agent made a service request to expedite my green card replacement. She gave me a reference number. She told me to not send first I-90 until I get a letter from them.

Surname: Smith

Given Name: Bianca Angel
