Hi all,

Our I-129 Fiance visa petition has been approved, got the I-797 notice saying they sent our original petition to (NVC).

NVC will process approved petition, says should be complete in 2 to 4 weeks after receiving from USCIS, then will

send to U.S. Embassy or Consulate where my fiance will be interviewed. It's been 35 days now since the approval,

and NVC still has'nt recieved it. Does anyone know how long it really takes? Why the delay? Has anyone else experienced

this long of a wait to get an interview? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

Currently right now it takes 2-6 weeks. One of the May Filers did a really good job in preparing the list for those who are still waiting for their NVC case number. You can see and update your details there. It might comfort you a bit. And in the same time you can keep calling NVC to know about your status.

YAY! Finally got the case # and invoice number from NVC!!!! They received the application and I got the #’s, now they will send it to Consulate and get an interview. Whew😅. Now waiting for interview hope it doesn’t take so long like the first two processes did. They said there’s no set time so we shall see. Yesterday was exactly 6 weeks to receive the application and it took one day to process it. 🤪💫💃🏼
