We had our interview on the 12th(Miami, FL), It went very well, the interviewer saw all the photo albums we had, a few questions, how we met,how long, ect. went over my information on the forms and then said that their decision will be mailed and that we will have it in about 7 days, today is the 7th business day. My lawyer asked her if there was any problem and she said "No, I just have to check a couple of things" pointing to the copies we had given her, it made sence to me since she only saw our tax return and had no time to see all the other supporting documents we had, bank statements, bills, credit cards ect. I have been reading the forums here and I have started to believe that my Name check might still be pending, the only time she made a note was when she asked me the name of my father, I share the same first name with him(he is not in the USA) and I sometimes only use my first name without my middle name or initial, she made a note on the form next to my father's name. Might I be wrong? Please advice.

you and my husband have the same issues, we had our interview feb22. i figured this is why we are still stuck in namechecks. in his case though, him, his dad and older brother have the same first names... hope your approval comes soon though.

Thank you guys! It has been a month since our interview and still no response. I have been trying to make an infopass but it seems there are no spots available in our area(Miami, FL). I will keep trying. Have anybody tried to go without an appointment to check the status of thier case? By the way we have not been "touched" since 3/29/07, we had our inteview on 4/12/07. Any idea of what is going on? Thanks in advance.
