For those waiting for Oath Ceremonies in Alabama.  I found this which may be helpful..

"If USCIS approves your Form N-400 (link is external), Application for Naturalization (link is external), you will be scheduled to  take  the Oath of Allegiance at a naturalization ceremony. Taking the oath will complete the process of becoming a U.S. citizen.

Naturalization ceremonies in our Court are usually held in February, May, July and October. The dates may vary and are dependent on the headquarters office and whether there are any candidates to be naturalized at that particular time. These events are typically conducted in our Ceremonial Courtroom (2F) to accommodate the candidates for citizenship, their families and other interested groups like the Colonial Dames, Daughters of the American Revolution and other civic and philanthropic organizations."

So I called USCIS and spoke to the " Tier 2 IO".

She says that my case is still with the NBC Center and has not been transferred to the FO.

When I started asking more questions about the Delay , she started to get agitated and said that , that's the only information she could give me .

It's almost been a year since I filed for N400....

So my Congressman 's office Came back and Said that the Montgomery office is procressing cases for March 1st week and per month procressing period is adding 3 months worth of completion.

They couldn't tell me when i would get my turn but said that if I do not hear back in 3 months then they will resend a service request to USCIS:angry:
