Co-sponsor for I-130

I understand that both petitioner and the co-sponsor fill out I-864's ....  but does the co-sponsor only submit his tax returns?

The instructions say for the person filling out the form to supply the latest year's complete return (or 3 if self-employed). It doesn't matter if this is the primary sponsor or the co-sponsor.

PLEASE, also only post ONCE on the same topic.

The Joint sponsor would also submit evidence of "current income" like a current pay stub or employer letter.

Posting it twice was a mistake, I hit submit, but nothing happened.....

 

I am the Petitioner....and my friend will be the co-sponsor....  so when that time comes, we both fill out a I-864, but he is the only one "submitting" his tax return with his 864?   And on my 864, I list my current income only and no tax returns?
