Wow, great news. Congratulations and my interview was on the same date, needed additional document that was uploaded on CEAC. Had one update in November, sent total 4 inquiries and didn’t hear back until now or any updates on the case.

I haven’t contacted the senator yet, and to contact is that done via call or application/email? Please confirm.

Did the petitioner stay with you after the interview or left back to USA?

Thanks, You can call and set up an appointment or u can walk into the office also.

First you will have to sign "privacy release form" then discuss with the Senator ...that way senator will be authorized by u to discuss your case with embassy.

I'm the petitioner, I came back to USA after I attended the interview, one month later.

Just to give you guys some hope my wife got visa in hand this week, after 5 months of administrative processing. interview was middle of September 2019. Was given the 221g to submit additional documents and proof of relationship, which she did a a few days later by courier as well as uploading it to CEAC website.

My case is relatively simple first marriage for both of us and no need for co sponser. I mailed the i130 in November 2018 so total time from initial application was close to 16 months. I submitted everything myself, no attorney.

My case is similar to yours, interview in October was given 221g to upload additional document which I did on CEAC.  First marriage for both of us, I have a co-sponsor on file. I mailed i130 in November 2018.

did you attend the interview with your wife?

Ok, that makes sense. I’ll surely do that if I don’t hear back in a few days... So after booking the appointment, sign and just give all the details to the senator and they’ll work with the embassy to inquire about my case?
