But did he have the softest, most beautiful paper towels?

He did, but El chefe  left those in the truck and focused on ensuring children had a warm meal.

I will take a 10

Nearly 80 percent of Puerto Rico, a US territory of 3.4 million people, still remains without electricity and hundreds of thousands of Americans are without running water.

He's doing an amazing job.

kudos.

His paella looks scrumptious. Better than skittles.

I can't say I have been to one of his restaurants but I did learn his paella technique on video, to the Spanish Jacques Pepin.

This should be good

Not only is D.C.-based Spanish chef José Andrés getting into New York City’s booming food hall business, he’s doing it with two of the most famous Spanish chefs of all time: the brothers behind El Bulli, Ferran and Albert Adrià

Per a press release, the 35,000-square-foot food hall will be a “a dynamic, all-day destination for Spanish food, drink, and culture,” offering guests “a world-class tapas bar” and shopping. The statement puts the opening at New York City’s Hudson Yards in late 2018.

the title says he is outdoing the Red cross. I figured it was a dig at the RC

I was harbouring this faint hope that the article would actually be read and that some charitable inspiration might overtake the CEHEST regulars  allowing them to temporarily set aside their cynicism and celebrate something that is larger than all of us. No dig against the red cross, I would give them a 10.
