March 7, 2005: I-129F NOA1

September 20, 2005: K-1 Interview in London. Visa received shortly thereafter.

AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

The husband and I just got back from the UK & France. My sister in law got married in northern France, so we went over for da weddin'. Actually, we were only in France for a couple of days. It was a great trip, but I'm a bit wobbly what with the time change. How are you?

Yeah, I'm lucky to have a flexible, if exhausting, situation. I don't normally travel so much, but it seems that everyone is getting hitched at once!

My husband's AOS application was "touched" while we were away, for the first time since December. We had our mail held until today, so I'm crossing my fingers that a notice requesting new fingerprints will show up. I'm trying hard not to get my hopes up!

Everyone but me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh where is that mailman????

No, we flew British Airways. But I get to fly Continental in a couple of weeks for the final travel-requiring wedding this year! I'll get to see Larry Kellner's smug preflight speech then.
