So i submitted my 601 Waiver last year - The recpiet date was November 3rd.

Nebraska shows it is processing waivers submitted in August 2016.

However, on the 28th of August, we got an RFE.

Does this mean that our expedite has been approved? We only recieved the standard expedite letter that you get in the beggining saying they would respond in 15 days, and that was in the 30th of June.

Anyhow, now the expedite was approved - im assuming, because of the RFE we recieved - does it also mean they will respond in to the RFE quickly as well? Or do the expedite rules not apply here?

Any advice appreciated

We submitted from the uk

No, a RFE is not an approval. They want to see more proof, most likely. Requests for evidence's are either initial or additional. Initial means you need to send them something you forgot to provide by the original petition and additional means mostly they want additional evidence send. (e.g. more photo's or evidence of meeting in person).

It doesn't sound like your expedite has been approved.

Yep, i know an RFE isnt an approval, but considering how Nebraska are processing waivers from august 2016 and our waiver was submitted in november 2016 ( and they are currently processing it), i was wondering if this means an expedite had been approved, or i was just extremely lucky.

No it is NOT approved. They will tell you if it was approved.

No one here can tell you if or when it will be approved. It will only be speculation.

Yeah,  I read it wrong. I blame the lack of morning coffee.

Everyone seems to be reading it wrong lol... I'm just curious as to why they started processing a submission from november all the way in August.
