Cost of visa and green card at the interview at the embassy for spouse

OK I told her to do so I don't know how long thongs take because the interview is November and I want to update her police report it has December 13 scared to take a chance if they want a more updated thing is there anything else I should know that I don't know to ask

Yes I just paid the fee on 9/18/17 .

Thank you I really needed this kind of information because I am trying to make sure I don't overlook anything some of the website things are not totally clear as to cost

Yes I completely understand, just wanted you to have the correct green card fee because I’ve seen people post that it’s still $165 and it’s not. That’s what I was told before the interview and then I went to pay and saw it was $220 

 

you sgouldnt expect  to make any other payment at the interview

 

you May want to obtain updated police records just be sure, better safe than sorry.

When did your wife get her first police report? They are good for 6 months, unless it’s been longer than that you shouldn’t need a new one.

 

The only fees you should have at this point is the medical exam, $220 when your visa is approved for the green card, and her airline ticket to America. 

 

If you haven’t been married for 2 years when she enters the US, you’ll need to go through the process of getting her 10 year greencard. But that won’t be for 21 months after she arrives.

It was December of last year for the police report  and March 27th was our 2 year wedding anniversary

If your passport has only 6 months left can it be renewed before 13th of November to take the exam in time of 13th November interview in Ghana
