Hello all!  I figured I would throw this question out there as maybe a few of you may have some information I need.

So, I am a January 2017 filer. I filed in mid January and received a biometrics appointment for February 2, 2017. I live in a rural community in Minnesota which is located very close to the North Dakota border. My biometrics appointment took place at a small USCIS office in Fargo, ND (which I never even knew existed!).  I was so happy that I didn't have to drive three hundred miles to St. Paul for that appointment.

I have a very strong hunch that I am going to need a stamp in my passport, as the processing times are dragging badly now. I also don't know how backed up these field offices will get over the Christmas holiday season, so I am thinking I will need to do this soon.  I went online to the Infopass page to find the closest field office to my zip code. I tried my old zip code in West Fargo as well as my new home address in MN (which is very close to ND), and all the results are pointing to St. Paul, MN (which by the way, has NO available appointments every time I check).   I have gone onto the website for the Fargo USCIS office but it is very unclear which services they offer besides accepting visa forms and completing biometrics. There is no phone number available on the site.  I suppose I could go down there and ask, but I figured I would ask here first and see, on the off chance, if someone here may know if they provide the stamp at the Fargo office.

Thank you in advance to everyone who reads and responds! :)

A USCIS field office is different from an ASC (application support center). The latter is where you do biometrics, the former is where you go for interviews, stamps, etc.

ETA: you should try looking for a slot right after midnight, they tend to open up.
