I have an odd question. As I posted yesterday I got my RFE. But I have read some things in the past about this... Getting your k1 visa and then having a child here before the adjustment of status and green card come through. Does the fiance ( now the spouse) and/or the baby have to stay in the US for a period of time or the baby loses its citizenship? 

 

Back when Trump was changing things around may and June I read somewhere that one of his changes was that a newborn born to a permanent resident new to the US had to stay here for a year and neither the mom or the child could leave or risk the baby losing citizenship status. Maybe this is the wrong forum post for this i don't know.

Yeah that's our case...I hope it's some easy and fast fix. Will let you know as soon as I get it. How long does it take to receive the hardcopy? And "best delivery time" back to CSC?

For our RFE it arrived 5 days later, sent out on the 11th, arrived in the mail on the 15th. If it hadn't been for government offices being closed I would have had it back out the 16th, instead I mailed it back on the 18th using Priority Express and they received it on the 19th. $20 to get it there in one day from Ohio but worth every penny for me to just know they got back working as fast as possible.
