Ready to mail my I-129F, but might have a problem

Everyone,

 

My I-129F packet is finally complete and ready to mail. I have been reading through various check lists and instructions to ensure I haven't forgotten anything.

 

I read something that has caused me concern. On one of the government sites, it said that every page submitted should have your name written on it. I have my name on the cover letter and my letter of intent to marry and other important documents. However, I have included many pages of photos, airline reservations, hotel reservations, receipts, and other evidence. I did not specifically add my name to these pages of evidence.

 

Will this be a problem? Do I need to add my name to every page?

What would be a good final check to make to ensure I have not overlooked anything?

 

Thanks again! I am excited to finally be at this point, but terrified I have missed something...

No, that would not be an issue.

 

However, if you have added separate sheets of papers to explain something or elaborate on your responses which could not fit in the boxes on the I-129F, then yes, you'll need to add your name, date and sign each of those continuation sheets.

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

Thanks! I did in fact add 2 additional pages to section 8 of my I-129F. I put my name at the top of each page, and added a signature and date to the bottom of each page as well.

We added one additional page about my employment history but we did not sign and date the top of this sheet! Will we receive an RFE for this?

I'm unable to give you a definite answer but hopefully the adjudicator that reviews your case file would overlook it :) Fingers crossed.
