So i've sent my fiance my Letter of Intent and other documents (for beneficiary) signed and dated 5/23, something came up and we've put a hold on filing for K1 until recently

So i'm wondering if my documents are still valid/useable or if I need to send in an updated version ? Thanks in advance

Most forums says that the dates on the statement of intent to marry shouldn't be older then 6 months. K1 processing is up to 5-6 months so I would suggest getting a new one just in case. That's what I would do in your situation at least. Good luck!

To save yourself from unnecessary trouble, always make sure your dated documents are as current as possible. Never know if the officer that touches your case file is nitpicky :)

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
