How long for NVC to send case K1 to US consulate general in Ho chi minh Vietnam?

Just wait. Normal. You will get information from NVC. It is not difficult. Just follow their instructions. It goes pretty fast from NVC stage. Be patient.

U.S. Consulate in HCMC got our case in few days after NVC sent it.   You can inquire about your case at https://vn.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/immigrant-visa-inquiry-form/

You need to attach copy of beneficiary's passport (ID page only)

When it was still at NVC, I called them almost every other day and checked the CEAC web site https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx.

It should be in TRANSIT status which means they sent it to U.S. Consulate in HCMC.  If not after few days or so then you should call them and find out what is going on.

 

Our case left NVC on 

2017-09-06 and consulate received on 2017-9-8
