To anyone that has gotten an RFE in 2017

Hey all, 

 

i guess im getting in patient and want this process over like the most of us. I received an RFE for a bunch of stuff inc more evidence of us meeting in person, beneficiary intent to marry, more detailed response on how we met etc. We sent it off 10 days ago & had an email last Friday to say they had received it. Just wondering who else is in the same situation and how long you've been waiting for?

Sorry to hear about the RFE, luckily we didn't have any RFEs, but nothing much you can do, but to wait it out again. The USCIS process during this whole thing was the most frustrating part for me, it does feel like a blackhole, it could take another month again, maybe even longer. Hang in there.

Gm Rachel I had to email too after her august 4th interview n Kingston,,same info they asking of u,,I sent it august 7th and called embassy an week later, on hold for 30 min finally n nice lady looked up the case and email, read it and said it was fine and accepted, and to check the ceac website to check on status and check email, an email came and was told to dhl her jama passport, she went down the next day and they helped her send it and how to log on the ceac site, took almost 3 weeks before they updated to aug 25 that's its in administrative processing now. so we still checking the site and nothing has changed,,so keep checking ceac,,the lady couldnt give us n timeline or even if we approved,,,ill keep u updated

Hello Rachel! 

We are in the same situation. We got our RFE on the 15th of August and sent the response 3 weeks ago! still no answer we didn't even get an e-mail confirming that they got our response I asked VJ members if it's ok that we didn't get any answer yet, they answered that usually they don't send any cofirmation unles you opted for tracking/delivery confirmation when you mailed  it out. So please let me know if you have any news! thanks and best of luck!

Hey Hun, I did receive confirmation & yesterday I received approval for noa 2. I'd maybe give them a call to see if they received it? Hope you get it soon! Xx

same for us in Jamaica embassy its been 4 weeks no change on ceac for our visa , shes calling embassy tomorrow which is our year engagement anniversary
