I'm flying to Hong Kong next month and I have bought some perfumes and candles for my relatives and friends as souvenirs, but I'm starting to wonder if it's going to be a problem when they scan/search my suitcase at the airport since perfume is a type if flammable substance.

Anybody had any related experience?

It's okay to bring them. Pack them in your luggage that you will check-in at the counter that will be stored underneath the plane. I brought stuff like that on my last trip to Ukraine. It will save you the trouble of being held up in line and them taking the said items away from you.
