Hello! Did anyone of you had a name change? or do you think they allow name change in SF field office? :D

SF field office does not do name change bacause they don’t conduct judicial oath ceremonies where there is a judge to change your name, they only conduct administrative oath ceremonies. If you wanna change you name, you have to go through the court name change process and bring the name change court order to your interview.

Alright! Is it difficult to change name? I mean like do you need a really good reason for changing names?

No, you don’t need a reason to change your name ( although natutalizaiotn is a good one) and you can change your name to whatever you like, as long as you pass background check.

I did, but it took 3 days for it to be trackable. I dropped my application off in Oakland on 11/13 and I was able to track it on 11/16.  Just wait another day or 2.
