Hahaha, did he grow up in the Twin Cities? I honestly can say after seeing it at least once a week for most parts of my entire life, I don't have any opinion on the spoon 'n cherry. I think I made it my signature when I realized I had to stay in Minneapolis for another 6 months. I think there are plenty of other hideous things in that sculpture garden though. Actually this time of year, the fugliest things in the sculpture garden are teen girls' Jessica McClintock formal dresses as hordes of acne-covered 16 year olds swarm the garden for prom pictures.

I think he spent a year or so there with an aunt. We only live about 40 miles away. Ugh prom #######, my sister in law is gushing about the $400 she spent on her dress (It's pretty fugly but you didn't hear me say a thing >.>) and another $300 or so on accessories. ####### o.O

We don't really do the prom thing in Belgium so the whole thing just seems surreal to me as an observer to the prom madness.

Prom was a crock. I had an awesome dress, but even still, I walked into the prom and stayed for like a half hour, got grossed out, cried and asked my boyfriend if we could go home, and we got in the car and promptly got lost, at which point HE started to cry because he didn't give me the prom I wanted (like I wanted any prom at all). Oh and we took our pix in the sculpture garden, and I lost my grandma's jewelry... good memories. You sure missed out in Belgium.

Besides #1, #5, and #7, I agree.

My adorable husband does those three on a regular basis. #1 can be substituted for shopping. His favourite is #7
