Hello everyone, I had my interview on 17 july this year and visa was approved. It was printed in the pasport and sent to dhl for collection. Unfortunately, before dhl called me to receive it, I checked on the shipment tracking number and it was returned back to the embassy. I went to the embassy ditect after reading that and the lady checked on it and told me to talk to my husband because he called aftet it was sent to get it cancelled asap. After afew days I was called back to the embassy and my visa was cancelled without prejudice in my pasport. My husband is not well mentally and medically so he does what comes to his mind immediately depending on the mood he is in. He tried to call back after realising he did a mistake but the embassy said the case was sent back to Uscis they're no longer handling it. We're stuck there.

It's unfortunate your husband cancelled the CR1 visa on what sounds like spur-of-the-moment anger.

I don't believe there's nothing you really can do, except start the process all over again...perhaps someone else will come along and comment and have another idea.

Have you tried calling USCIS to see what they can tell you, if anything?

Thank you #Goingthrough! We called the Uscis they said we should wait for a letter of Intent to revork in 4-6 month. We're trying to find out if we can be granted a visit visa at the local embassy but many say its impossible until when we receive the letter

The letter shows proof that the prior visa was revoked because they cannot issue two different types of visas at once.  You do need that letter.

Incorrrct.   They cannot issue two of the SAME type of visa at once.  You can have more than one visa, as long as they are different categories.

However, it is unlikely that they would issue a visitor visa to someone who just had a immigrant visa cancelled and who is lying to get a new one. That clearly shows immigrant intent, which means the applicant would not qualify for a visitor visa.  The NOID letter will have no real bearing on the visitor visa application --  the Embassy already knows the situation.  USCIS issuing a NOID letter will only confirm the intent to cancel the petition, making it even more likely the visitor visa would be denied. It could then easily appear to be an attempt to immigrate to the United States via a tourist visa.
