More Questions About CR-1

Good afternoon everybody...

We are just about to start the Visa Journey and my wife and I want to be sure about a couple of things to make sure not being rejected or delayed!

We are taking the advises of this site taht is really helpfull, in this beggining we were looking in this part of the foro:

(Assembling the I-130 Package: Checklist)

So we have a few questions:

1- When we fill the papers, we have to use any specific ink color, like preferred Blue, or Black, for example?

2- We don't understand one thing about the photos, (in the back part of the photo we have to write the corresponding name?)

   Is this part: [Quote: Write the full name on the back. Place in a plastic bag and label the bag "Photo of <Insert Name>". Attach the bag to a sheet of paper and place behind the corresponding G-325a.] End of the Quote.

What we understand is that we have to write the full name in the back of the printed photo, then place it into a plastic bag and attach the bag to a sheet of Paper????

Anyone who already made this part correctly as described in the topic can help us? Please...

3- Two of my brother-in-law were in our wedding celebrated in Cuba, my mother and father-in law due to taking care of our child were not able to be in the wedding, my question is, to Evidence of a Bonifide Marriage can my brother-in-law gave us an Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship.

Doesn matter he's of the family, as an evidence of our truly marriage, we also have photos and evidence of our marriage is really true.! 

Airplane tickets, Whatsapp talks, photos in Cuba and here in Colombia, but would be presented at the embassy if neccesary, but we are trying to get the most accuracy in the beggining of the process. And not get delayed for any request or something. I'm asking this final part because of I founded this in the foro as an evidence that can be presentated to USCIS in the beggining in the I-130 Assembling!

1) Use a printer, it automatically prints in black ink as preferred by the USCIS

2) The G-325a is no longer needed.  If the beneficiary is not in the USA then passport photos of the beneficiary are no longer needed either.  So just the USC needs to get passport pictures taken

3) being  at your wedding is not good evidence of having a bona fide marital relationship.  That just means he watched you get married... Affidavits are low on the evidence scale anyhow and not worth much so they're not needed unless you're low on evidence.

The other thigns I perfectly understand it, but how to use a printer , the I-130 is in a PDF format, can be filled using a computer, black ink preferred, ok but I was thinking that has to be hand-filled?

 

Another thing, USCIS page of the CR-1 mentions that G-325 is needed for both petitionary and benefitiary in it's page updated July 27th current year? What about this? 

And I have other further questions that I'm going to post it in a while!

use a black ink pen.  It says that in the instructions.

as far as proof, try to open a bank account with both names or get any type of rent/lease with both names on them or any type of utility bill.  Save old chats/emails/call logs and such.

For photos, you have to wire the name of each person on the back and date if the picture doesn't have a date on the front. I think they ask to write with a pencil on the back of the photos.  When I sent the photos I also included a very brief description for example, "Picture taken at the park 6 months before getting married", but you don't have to

So for a proof, , well if we don't have it , is neccesary as a proof, then you recomend us to create it !

I don't want to give you an advise I am not sure of, but when I filled out my I-130 back in December 2016 it didn't ask for photos and I didn't include any photos.  When I got the RFE, I sent the pictures

Its a fillable pdf.  You should be able to type things on it in adobe or another pdf software and print it out. 

 

G-325a is no longer needed.  Instead use the I-130A.

So, you get an RFE,and you gave them the photos, that's what we're not wanting to have, an RFE that delay our process.

So, nothing wrong happens, if you for expample include it in the package, photos as evidence? for example.

Yeah I got an RFE and I hope you don't get one because it does delay the process.  I think even if I would have sent photos they wouldve still sent me an RFE because they asked for a lot more than just photos.  My RFE response was almost 30 pages worth of proofs

So, and the delay, how many weeks or months was?

RFE was sent to me on April 17th this year.  Then I got transferred to the local office on June 1st and still waiting on what they want to do next for me.  I think they will interview me.  I aould say the delay is about 2-3 months for a normal case

That was recommended to me by NikLR

and pray to GOD not to receive an RFE! It would severe delay the proccess...

So photos, Whatsapp Chats, Airline tickets of she visiting me in Cuba first and then here in Colombia, Photos of we both in Cuba , and then here in Bogota, with my stepson ,wedding pictures, wedding invitation cards to family and friends, any evidence that can proof that we are truly married and this is not a convenience marriage!
