hi vj friends,

my son and i just arrived here in LA 5days ago, my current status is CR1 visa and my son is US Citizen. Is it ok to apply for SSN, we're planning within this week. Is there a priority number for infant, or does it have a appointment online?(just to avoid waiting lines) and What are the requirements?

hope you can give me insights.

thank you,

Your son did CRBA?  He should have been assigned a SSN then, and if you ticked the box in your paperwork.  Five it about ten days from your arrival for paperwork to trickle through, and then visit the SS office, they should be able to tell you your numbers.
