I talked to him and he keeps on telling me I don't need it but according to a lot of people from here I should take a copy so I'm really stressing

When was the first I-864 submitted? What documents did you provide him to help you prepare the form the first time? :)

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

Ok, don't worry :) Refer to your current employer's letter and your paystubs to work out your expected or estimated annual income for 2017. If your current employer's letter already state your expected annual income, just use that figure.

I'm off for my lunch break. If anything else, I'll reply after :)

Yes, you can put 45k :) Just have your paystubs and employer letter ready just in case they ask for those supporting documents.

One more question about the Affidavit in the part where it tell you to put 1for the immigrant you are sponsoring and if you are married enter 1 but what about if the immigrant you are sponsoring happens to be your wife?

Posted

You do not enter anyone twice. Therefore:

Part 5, Item 1 = 1 (this refers to your immigrant wife)

Part 5, Item 2 = 1 (this refers to yourself)

Do not enter +1 in Part 5, Item 3 because you have already noted your wife in Part 5, Item 1 :)

Assuming you are a single sponsor, enter your W2 income only. For the supporting, you bring the W2 + corresponding year's tax return transcript :)

Since we already have an interview I assume they have it at the embassy you think it's a big issue if I don't take a copy with me?

I personally would bring a copy for just in case. But if you don't bring one and they do need one, you'll probably just be told to send it in :)

I'm still stuck someone help! I'm sponsoring my wife  for her cr-1 visa. In the section where it asks you for your last 3 previous tax years the first and second year we were married so we filed joint returns..my question is should I put down what it shows in the joint return or what I made individually?
