Update: got my case number!

For right now, I'm just getting all our evidence of our relationship for the past two years together (So far I have: phone bills, bank records, flights itinerary, bus and train tickets, photographs, individually signed letters stating our intent to marry each other, and another letter stating how we met.)

So, it seems the general consensus from everyone is that I should wait.. this is going to kill me. And he feels so bad now cuz he feels like he royally messed up and that I should do all the paper work from now on!

You don't need all of that for the initial petition. You just need evidence of meeting within the last two years and a letter of intent to marry. The other stuff you listed is needed AT INTERVIEW.

But, wait to see what they ask for in the RFE. That's the best course of action.

I hate to be fullof gloom ont his issue, but instead of a RFE for more information, the case may be denied for lack of evidence and you would have to refile (and repay?). Wouldn;t it be worth a call to USCIS to see if you could send the info in? Normally I would agree with all who said it is better to wait for a RFE becase you info may never make it to your file. In this case I would hate the adjudicator to just deny because it fails to meet the standard of proof.

...once again waiting

As explained to you above, they don't want a whole pile of evidence. They only need evidence you have met in the last two years.

Re: the question on the I129F wherein it asks if you have met in the last 2 years, what did your fiance put as his answer?

Depending on his answer, and the evidence garnered from the passports, you may not get an RFE at all. Depends on the mood of your adjudicator.

If your fiance sent EXACTLY what you listed, I'm guessing any RFE you get will be for a lack of his birth certificate.

Too late to edit by post above. I did misread the thread. Wait for the RFE.

He explained in his answer that we've been together for the past two years and we met through his roommate (my cousin) at the time. He send a complete copy of his passport which has a stamp showing that he has travelled to canada before (however it might only be the one stamp as it is not that difficult to travel between Canada and the US)

I was under the impression that you only need a copy of a passport OR a birth certificate for the petitioner (think I read that on the I-129F form) - in any case, he's born and raised in the US.

Things that he didn't send: Letters of intent, photographs, bills etc.

You're going through Vermont, and they're usually pretty quick, so the good news is, you'll probably know inside of a month or two. Get the proof of having met, and as soon as you get the RFE send it all off.

The guides here will give you a rough idea what to send. Did he remember the passport photos?

Please listen to the do not send anything in advice, it would be a waste of time and wouldn't help anything, just time, paper and money lost.

Wait for the RFE if infact you do get one, and like the others said, right now you just need proof of seeing eachother, so you don't have to go too crazy.

Wait it out, it won't be so bad.

It will not kill you - but trust me, everyone gets cranky during this tiresome process! I'm a big worrier and I wonder out loud a lot which probably drives my fiance up the wall (although he is nice enough to ignore me gently :) You can easily courier stuff to them when you're retuning evidence and that obviously helps things along.

Your turn for paperwork is coming in the shape of Packet 3, don't volunteer too much yet!

He DID send evidence.

Those copies of the passports? I'm guessing his passport showed he had been in your country? And did your passport show the same?
