Good day! I received my interview appointment letter from NVC yesterday and one requirement for the interview is medical exam at St Luke's Extension Clinic. The question is, should I schedule an appointment at SLEC before I go there for a medical exam? How can I make an appointment online? Thank you

I just did this yesterday for my mom. Just go to their website and register, it's a first come first serve basis no appt needed. Just bring your interview letter and the registration confirmation.

I've read somewhere that the medical exam will take 2 days to complete. Is it true? should i bring my immunization records when i was a baby even if I'm an adult now? or immunization records are necessary if the applicant is a minor?

It can take up to 5-10 days to get the results(it depends what tests you are doing). Yes, bring your immunization records if you have them, you'll receive less vaccination shots.

Should I have my medical examination a week before my scheduled interview? What if the results are not yet available on the day of my interview?

It is advisable to do it a month before your interview or at least 3 weeks just to be on the safe side. Just call your clinic, tell your interview date and ask them to schedule an appointment for you, that you would get results on time.

Mine took two days and I am recovering from an ankle surgery (pwd).  Best to go there on Thursday or Fridays according to staff.  No appointments, you can walk in if you want.  When my sister asked the hotline, they suggest to have the medical exam two weeks before interview date.
