Hello dear people,

I am a in the bad situation of sending RFE documents. On top of this I am a March 2016 filer, hence I am way past normal processing times.

So any input from you guys are greatly appreciated.

1. We live in an apartment and only my husband is in the lease. So we are going to send mails that we both get to the same address as proof.

Anything else I can do make this a little better?

2. His most recent gift to me is a mobile phone. He has paid with his credit card but in the receipt the owner of the phone service is listed as me (My husband has given my name to the phone service person because the service is for me). But as I mentioned the credit card in the receipt is his. How do we show this to the USCIS? How do we prove this credit card belongs to him?

3. Do we have to have 3 notarized letters from 3 people to verify we are actually married? I the RFE they dont mention a specific number.

Thanks for any input.

Sending proof of mail to your address with your name on it would suffice.   You can take a photocopy of his card, blotting out some of the numbers, perhaps leaving the last four, so they can tally it to the receipt? (not sure how you do that, but someone on here may advise you more).   You could also go online if the mobile phone is not on a recent card statement and print a copy of that statement with any recent transactions.  3 notarized letters are standard, but I doubt they are going to be pedantic if you send 2.  At the end of the day if it isn't good enough for them, they will ask you to attend an interview, but I doubt that will happen.

1.You and your husband could also ask landlord to add you to the lease. That's what we did :)

2. Was the phone bought on contract (installment, lease?) if yes then both your name and your husbands should be on the monthly statement from mobile services provider like AT&T, Verizon etc. just print it out and highlight both your names on it

if not then print out a credit card monthly statement. His name and card number will be on that statement. Highlight the transaction.

If the phone is registered to you, then there should be a detail listing of calls and minutes spent on that number (and text sent/received). They should be listed separately with your name on it (and your husband should have his separate section as well).

That is what my AT&T monthly bill shows.
