The NVC for my fiance's DOB wrong and they already sent it yesterday to the Embassy! When my fiance goes for his interview will they think we are trying to commit fraud or something because of this smh. It was literally correct on the NOA1 and NOA2. Idk how they fat fingered it at this stage smh. I'm upset

Nop. They won't think that. Either try to call to correct it when the file arrives at the embassy or during the interview :)

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

We had a similar problem and we were able to fix it later at the embassy stage. Just make sure the information you submit on the DS160 is accurate and should it come up during the interview simply tell the truth and explain the mix up...mistakes happen.

Did you just send the embassy an email of the passport or birth certificate?

I tried to correct the mistake when our petition was at the NVC but the person told me there was nothing they could do on their end but she assured me it would not be a problem. I was told  to make sure we submit the correct info on the ds160 as that's the primary source the embassy utilizes for demographic info for the interview and visa. Additionally, your fiance will have to bring his birth certificate to the interview so they will see that it matches what your fiance submitted on the ds160 and the DOB on your NOA1 and NOA2 as well. Should someone really scrutinize it will be pretty obvious a mistake was made at the NVC due to the fact all of your other documents will have a consistent DOB.
