2 quick questions.

1. I recently switched jobs and wont be receiving pay stubs for weeks. It's above the poverty level, my concern is if I can send the I-134 Affadavit of Support  minus new pay stubs from new position. Here's what I have currently :- 2 years of tax transcripts, last 3 months worth of pay stubs from position I just left, official letter from new position showing my salary and that its a permanent position. Will this suffice or do I need hold up the entire interview process and hold out for a few pay stubs from new position despite me having an official letter already ? My fiance is ready to schedule her interview at the Moscow embassy but I'm concerned and want everything perfect before I give her the ok for interview.

2. Will the CO actually call up or email my employment to verify my salary, and do I need to let them know ahead of time to expect to hear from the CO/Embassy ? I dont want them to potentially ignore the most important email/phone call of my life.

Any help will be sorely appreciated. This forum has been the best !

Hey Marko! Congratulations on the NOA2 and upcoming interview for your fiancée. With all the documents you mentioned, I think it should be ok since you'll be submitting a letter from your new employer. Any possibility for them to issue you a temporary paper pay stubs or can you print it off their online system if they use an online payroll software?

As for question 2, never read such a thing so far. I hope not!

Thanks !

Hmm I doubt it as they are a smaller corporation. The official letter shows my salary however. I can ask Payroll if they can issue a temp pay stub but I doubt it. I just started a week ago so I have 2 more weeks before I receive any pay stub at all even though I signed up for direct deposit. If pay stubs were mandatory i'd be waiting 1-2 months for a few stubs and that would hold up the interview quite awhile. My fiance is constantly complaining about it because she wants her daughter to start school here in August on the 1st day of school.

Besides having your employer stating your current pay in the letter, perhaps get them to also state that you were paid on the specific dates but pending the issuance of official paystubs. Something that may or may not work. Worse comes to worst, the embassy will just ask your fiancée to return to submit the missing paystubs. She won't get denied, just a delay in receiving her visa.
