How long do I need to wait to get my interview schedule (citizenship)

Hello, Everyone! 

 

I hope someone already went through this and can share their experience with me. I applied for my citizenship in Feb/2017. I received my NOC right away. I already had my biometrics. I got an email in March 2017 saying that I was on a waiting list for my interview to be schedule.  I have not heard anything from them ( today is 6/10/2017). I called them and they said that they are still working on cases submitted in July 2016.   They said that there is nothing that they can do for me all that I have to do is wait but I have been waiting for 3 months already. Did anyone had to deal with this before? How long does it usually take? I am completely frustrated at this point.

My step son applied for his N400 in Oct 2016. Received his NOA fairly quickly and biometrics followed shortly thereafter. Still waiting for interview date. We are in NY and field office is now only processing applications for June 2017 so sounds like it will be almost one year (this Sept or Oct) before his interview. Depending on where you live it can go fairly fast or in our case snails pace. Hang in there.

Thank you for replying to my post. I guess that is the only thing that I can do... wait. Good look with everything your son in law should be getting his interview date soon since he applied in Oct. 2016.
