Hey folks!!  Very excited today, our K1 petition is approved and has been sent to NVC.  It's been about 100 days, but it is great for my fiance and I to see progress.  I hope someone on this forum can help with a couple of quick questions.

1.  I received the notice in the mail today, and the notice date is 6/5/17.  When I go to USCIS web site and type in the Receipt Number, the only information that is shown is the original date USCIS received my petition.  Is this normal?

2.  The notice says "Notice Type: Approval Notice   Valid from 06/05/2017 to 10/04/2017"  Does this mean my fiance has to enter the US before 10/04/2017?
