Hi everyone!!

Im actually new here and i need help about how my fiance and i can go about proving our relationship when he had no pictures taken with my family when he was here in the philippines last year. Most of my family resides in the province so he only met my mom brothers and sister but we didnt take pictures on those times.

It was just this year when he proposed online to me and told me about this fiance visa. However i have pictures with his family, would that be sufficient enough for proof? Along with our pictures together and perhaps some  screenshots of our conversations everyday. He only came here once in a span of 8 months, and we were together almost everyday for like 7 months including the times when we were friends and dating.

Thanks alot!!!

You need pictures with the family as long as you can prove the relationship. Getting engaged online is a little different considering you were together 7 months, you should be fine just include 6 to 12 pictures or so.

I didn't have any with some of my fiances family and we had no issues getting approved.

In addition to photos it will be important to provide evidence that you visited each other, in the form of airline tickets and passport stamps. Photos and chat conversations are considered secondary to evidence that you were in the same place at the same time.

My husband never visited England and therefore never had any pictures with my family. When I visited him I made sure to take some because we knew we were going to do this process. We were approved and same again for the AOS green card interview. My family came over for the wedding but somehow my husband managed to evade the camera and didn't get any pictures with my family! But thankfully I got plenty of my family with his family and we were approved again. Pictures help but it's more of an evidence thing at this stage. Travel documents, I-94s, plane tickets, communication etc.

Don't worry about photos too much when it comes to dealing with the embassy in Manila.

We had 5 or 6 photos of just us, never met his family nor he meet mine, went through the whole process without issue.
