CFO Manila afternoon session

I was trying to register my fiancee for CFO in Manila for an afternoon session. Their website allowed me to choose the date on the first page and I assumed that the session can be chosen later but they never asked for it, so she was scheduled for the morning session which she cannot attend. Any ideas how to handle this? Thank you.

You can call them, that's what they told me even though there is no slot schedule available they will make it for you.

CFO only allows you to schedule the day, not the time, not sure why.  Calling is your only option to change sessions.

Since you did the CFO already idk how it works exactly but my  wife already has her CFO paper can she judt get the sticker for it in NAIA airport?

Yes.

 

Once a person has the certificate it is good forever.   Present the certificate to get the sticker.   Must call ahead to get the sticker at NAIA.

We send them an e-mail on early Monday morning and got no reply. Both my fiancee and I called them on Tuesday. They said - send us an e-mail. We said that we already

did. We got a reply to the e-mail on Tuesday afternoon. It said - our scheduling supervisor is out  until next week. The quest continues...

Don't stop calling them.

 

I don't know why only in the Philippines need the CFO... I processed my visa in Singapore, but my mistake  I flew from Philippines to SeaTac. I heard about CFO but doesn't give much attention because I know I got visa. When I was in immigration, they asked me my CFO. I said I didn't  know about it. because I was based in Singapore. I went to the CFO table and told about my situation. Officer in charge called his manager, and I did talk to my her, geez it takes me 1 hour on the phone to beg for her to give me sticker. they want me to rebook my ticket, I told her the ticket is non refundable unless you want to shoulder my ticket I will attend the seminar... She told me you should call them if there is no schedule available, I said I was calling but no response.. finally the officer in charge give me the CFO sticker.

 

But you know what, the immigration officer in SeaTac told me, what is this sticker for???  I just laugh.. I said for display  ..

CFO is strictly a Philippine thing... no where else on the planet does anyone care about a CFO sticker.

CFO was created to combat Human Trafficking.  Which even today is an issue.

That is a good question.

 

I know CFO has a bad rep, and for a time it was rightly deserved.. bribery, and abuse rather than guidance.   They cracked down hard on the bribery.. I had the joy of turning one such person in.. that person is gone from CFO... they do listen when you email them about bribery and such.
