Good day! Just wondering if anyone had their oath at Newark, New Jersey? My son's oath is on Saturday (May 20).  I thought they do not open on a Saturday. The time on the letter says 730 in the morning. Do they start right away? How many oaths in a day and the time slots? Anyone please share your experience please. I highly appreciate it. Thanks

No knowledge of that specific service center, but in general- They will start the process at 7.30am, so he does need to be there on time, but there will be paperwork first, handing in his greencard etc.  There likely will only be one "slot", and a large group of new citizens taking their oath at the same time. In terms of how ong the process takes, it depends a lot of how many applicants there are; it can take most of a day, but it can also take only a couple of hours.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
