K-1 with child need some help

Hello everyone

I don't know if this has been asked before but I need some help.

I'm getting ready to file the petition and I know to include her sons info on the I-129f do I send a passport photo as well ?

Will he do the medical and interview the same time as her ?

Will we be told what is needed to bring to interviews ?

Will it take longer for approval then without a child ?

I have not found anything but still looking.

No, The children only have to be listed on the I-129F for now.

 

Once that is approved the child will need it's own medical, DS-160 and visa fee.

The child can come at the same time as the mom or it can do a follow to join there has to be within 1 year of the moms K-1 visa.

 

The visa for the child is called a K-2 visa.

Yes the embassy will tell you what documents there will be needed when the case gets to that point. 

 

Also be aware that you also will have to pay for the AOS for the children when they get here to the US with there mom and are adjusting status.

 

It won't be cheap.
