My husband has his interview next month and will get a tuberculosis test like everyone else at the medical exam.  He is HIV positive so I already

know that he will have to get further tests and if tuberculosis is found he would need to get treatment for approximately nine months.  By the time it takes to get the test results (which takes approximately 8 weeks) and the course of treatment (if needed) that is up to nine months it could take about a year.  Would they hold his place in line since he would be under going medical treatment or if one year passes would I need to start the entire petition process again?  Thanks for all your help!
