I called the embassy

what does it mean ? I was told that my case returned to usa for review

I dont know what exactly but i guess it is also part of administrative processing. I read online that all cases are sent to Washington DC for review.

@Mehar you must be knowing it..also i got to know that security check is happening in my case..is that also other name of administrative processing?

AP is for further processing, which includes background & security checks which is done in Washington DC. But for that they don't send case back to US.
