Anywhere from the middle east or islamic country will be difficult. I married an Egyptian man. Why don't you marry in Morocco? The visa would be easier since you're both married. They might see it as odd if you two haven't really met in his country

Salam! Just coming across this. I am from Massachusetts and my husband is from Morocco. We are currently in the first steps of the cr1.

I strongly suggest marrying him in Morocco and then petitioning for him in a cr1 (1-130 form). I have many reasons this is better.

1- it's very difficult for Morocco to give visas. I know Doctors who got denied their travel visa to the US.

2- if he comes to the US on a green card, he can work, get a driver's license etc right away, which is very beneficial. On a visa you have a lot of restrictions.

If you want to chat more let me know! I've been traveling to Morocco for almost 3 years now, been married 6 months 😍

Yes I agree with this statement about them seeing it odd If you haven't spent time in his country.

You need an enormous amount if pics with family etc to prove it's real.
