Hello Everyone!

I sent my I-130 on the 22nd Saturday April to lockbox Phoenix, Arizona. I live in Texas so was wondering if my application will be sent back to Texas for processing. I was also wondering why I haven't received my NOA1 by now or is it too early to get one?  Should I call to ask for my NOA1 since its been delivered since Monday on the 24th? How long does it take them to send it back to Texas?

Petitions are processed at service centers, not at local USCIS offices.

You'll need to stock up on patience for this process. Give it a few weeks for the NOA1 to arrive. Did you include g1145? Did your cash get checked?

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

K1 process

9/24/15: I129f sent

9/30/15: NOA1

11/2/15: NOA2

3/15/16: Medical

4/28/16: Interview (approved)

Delayed entry due to work

8/12/16: POE Detroit

9/4/16: Wedding!

AOS process:

9/9/16: I485/I131/I765 sent

9/14-18/16: Received 3xpaper NOAs

Yes I included G-1145. I actually sent a Money order instead of a check. Will that be a problem?

No, it's not a problem, other than that check being cashed usually is your first sign that the case it in the right hands. Don't worry though.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

The NOA is the first touch of the case, and it is when they assign your case number. Without a case number, there's no way they'll be able to tell you whether the petition has arrived or not. I'm sure you tracked the package, so you'll just have to trust that delivered means delivered for now. Give it a few more weeks before you start to worry.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

It will be more than likely going to Nebraska. That's where Texas residents petitions usually go. But since they have done a transfer lately maybe another service center. But I doubt it will be Texas.

I see some things were returned so what is your service center you got?
