Proof of Domicile

Do I need to submit documents for proof of domicile if I live in the US and has a permanent US address? To my understanding, proof of domicile is only required for USC petitioners living outside the US. Is this correct?

Correct. If you live in the US and have a permanent/mailing address no need.

 

If abroad, then you would need to prove domicile.

Thank you!  So I'm assuming that the US address I wrote on the petition is enough to show my US residency?

Again if you're living there, and obviously working in the US, no real need to show more....

 

I didn't have to "prove" anything. Just put down my US address as my current physical address and it as my mailing address.

I included a copy of my driver's license just in case as proof of domicile. Just got my case completed on 4/7 no checklist
