Wondering how many of you guys applied in April 2017 and your package sent to Potomac Service Center.

We applied on the 7th of April, Package was received on the 10th, And we got our SMS notification with receipt number on the 17th. :)

 

Visa journey timeline says: There are not enough recent approvals in the timeline system to accurately approximate when your I-130 will be approved.

So I thought I create this thread. :)

Sent my package on April 18, 2017.

On April 24, 2017 received email saying it was accepted and transferred to Potomac (YSC).

April 18, 2017 - Sent I-130 Package to Chicago Lockbox

April 20, 2017 - Chicago Lockbox receives package

April 24, 2017 - Receive email and text - case accepted, receipt # and transferred to Potomac (YSC)

April 28, 2017 - Receive NOA1 hardcopy from Potomac Service Center (Received Date: April 21, 2017, Priority Date: April 19 , 2017 and Notice Date: April 21, 2017)

May 2, 2017   - Finally able to track case on app (was not able to track until after a couple days after receiving the NOA1 hardcopy)

Oct 30, 2017 -  I-130 Approved

Nov 03, 2017 -  Case sent to Department of State (NVC)

Nov 03, 2017 - NOA2 received in the Mail

Nov 13, 2017 - NVC receives file

Nov 25, 2017 - NVC sends Case # and Invoice Number

Nov 26, 2017 - DS-261 (choose an agent) form sent to NVC

Nov 30, 2017 - Receive letter / instructions to pay fees

Dec 1, 2017  -  Affidavit of Support fee and IVF fee paid to NVC via online 

Dec 6, 2017 -   DS-260 submitted

Dec 8, 2017  -  Package delivered at NVC

Dec 12, 2017 - Scan date

Jan 13, 2018 - Case Complete

Feb 20, 2018 - Interview then administrative processing

April 3, 2018 - Second Interview and approved

April 10, 2018 - Pick up passport and visa

April 14, 2018 - Arrived in USA

Hey guys,

 

Does any one of your know what are the next set of fees we will have to pay after the petition has been approved and sent to NVC then embassy.  I'm just trying to prepare myself financially. Thanks.

April 18, 2017 - Sent I-130 Package to Chicago Lockbox

I will say that we just got our NOA2 from Potomac on 5/6/17!!!!! Our PD was 12/22... but so far we are the only late december NOA2's that I've seen. Hopefully they start moving along again!
