What happens then? No movement on the EAD but lots of touches on the other. If the AOS is approved does that automatically include a work permit?

Things are moving great with the AOS and it looks like that will get approved first. At this point I don't care, just approve one of them. Hubby's last day of work is tomorrow until whenever.....

Most people in this thread are filing for EAD along with AOS so there EAD does not get sent to vermont.... it is processed at MSC/NBC... so you can not compare their timelines to your own....

No it should not take any longer.... but as your EAD forms have been forwarded to Vermont you can not compare it to someone who's EAD is being delt with by MSC/NBC as it is 2 diffrent places....

You can check the USCIS website for processing times for Vermont and this should give you some idea of how long it may take...

My husband's EAD was approved on April 26th, card mailed on the 27th, received on the 30th and of course has Green card was approved on May 1st.

They got an extra $185 out of me but it was well worth it.

Claudeth's AOS was approved a couple of months after her EAD so it was kind of a waste of money for us to have even filed for the EAD, she didn't go to work until after her GC arrived anyway
