Can someone explain welcome letter (F2B)

Hi, when your case reached the NVC they will send you a letter to welcome you and also new case number and invoice number as well. If you're case was transferred please call the national visa center and get your case #.

i130 is an form.not a visa category. in visa bulletin you can check the processing time by visa category. 

 

 

  • First: (F1) Unmarried Sons and Daughters of U.S. Citizens:  23,400 plus any numbers not required for fourth preference.
  • F2A) Spouses and Children of Permanent Residents: 
  • (F2B) Unmarried Sons and Daughters (21 years of age or older) of Permanent Residents:
  • Third: (F3) Married Sons and Daughters of U.S. Citizens:  23,400, plus any numbers not required by first and second preferences.
  • Fourth: (F4) Brothers and Sisters of Adult U.S. Citizens:  65,000, plus any numbers not required by first three preferences.
