Hi All,

I just want to know from everyone who experienced it, how long will it take for them to process the visa if under "administrative review"? Is it really 60 days (based on the website)?

I was interviewed last March 8 and they required me to submit Singapore Police Clearance and NBI. I was only able to send those documents last week.

Probably not too long honestly if they receive and review the paperwork. Embassy in the Philippines generally is pretty quick at turn around.

 

I'd give it another couple weeks though before inquiring.

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

This is what i received after i submitted the other requirements after my interview last Feb.

  We have reviewed your file and determined that you must do the following to continue and conclude the processing

                                of your visa application. After completing the requested action, you may view the status of your application at

                                https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/. Please disregard the unmarked paragraphs.

 

I submitted my nbi last week then when i checked the status today it says

 

I know i have to wait.. problem is i am impatient :) (they got me on "several weeks" :( and i need the status or the actual visa itself before i can finalize the turnover at my current work. It is as if all my preparation can only be finalize and push through once i have the visa.

Finally.... got "issued" status from ceac. They will deliver the visa within 10 days

Got my visa today!! yey!!! it will expire on July. Planning to fly in June.

Question: i will have another 90 days to change my status upon POE right?

No, you have 90 days after entering the US to get married. The K1 is based on you getting married to the petitioner. You can't AOS until after you get married.

Get married within 90 days THEN adjust status.
