hello all. I hope ill get a reply soon here.

My interview was on 16 febuary 2017 and the respected counselor informed me that your visa is approved and you will get the passport and documents in 10 to 15 working days. Today was 15th working day. It was showing ready throughout these days untill today it changed to administrative processing. Everything from my side and from my petitioner side were fine. I got a bit worried as everything here is ready . My bags and suitcase. Can anyone help me what should i do or ill get things in two three days

AP is a normal process in many cases. It can take days (usually), weeks (sometimes), months (rarely), or years (very rarely). It doesn't mean anything is wrong. Pretty much Anything that needs to be done after the interview is AP.

 

If it stays that way for a couple weeks, then you may want to reach out to them and see what the cause is. It's not too uncommon for security checks with Pakistan to take some time. Hopefully it's only a few days of AP, though.

Thanks for the reply. Yes ive been reading all th forums regarding this AP thing. I was very tensed as i have packed my suitcase and handbags and was finalizing when to leave for U.S. I am in relief thats its a normal process and normally they put AP when they are finalizing everything. So all i can do is wait. Thanks a million

Such a big relief today. Wokeup in the morning and checked my status on a safe side and it was showing Issued. Yaaay. I can be now with my fiance very soon ..cant wait

Interview 16 feb 2017

 16 feb to 8 march it showed Ready. On 9th march the status showed AP (ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING) and on 10th it showed Issued. 

So i have learned that  no one has to get worried if they have everything right.

Awesome! I'm glad to hear it.

 

Don't be surprised if it switches back and forth a couple more times in the coming days as they go print and/or mail the visa.
